Say cheese!

Tim decided that it was time for some new pictures of Micah to put up at his desk at work. We found a place in the mall, Ritz Camera, which develops very nice pictures. Last year, when we needed to print off some wedding pictures we came here to get them. They have an online site where we can upload photos and pick them up at the store. Tonight I went to pick up the pictures. In addition to our prints they gave us a free 5x6 photo and asked if they could put this particular picture of Micah up on their “baby wall” because they thought the picture was so cute! How could I say no? I signed the back of the picture to give my permission, and couldn’t wait to tell Tim the exciting news! So if you ever happen to go to Ritz Camera store in the Greenbrier Mall, look for the “baby wall” and you’ll see Micah!

Two Months for Micah

Yesterday, Micah turned 2 months old. It’s amazing how quickly the time goes! Today he went to the doctor’s office for his 2 month check-up and, unfortunately for him, his 2 month immunizations. We knew that Micah was packing on the pounds, and we were right. He weighed in at 14 lbs., 4 oz. and was 24 1/8 inches long. His length is in the 75th percentile, and his weight puts him in the 90th percentile. What can I say? He loves to eat! Even though he wasn’t a fan of the shots, he handled them like a real trooper. (We told him Megan likes brave boys.)

Also, Micah has made the transition from our room to his own room. No longer in the pack-n-play, he’s now in his very own crib. And he really seems to like it! He’s already made good friends with the animals on his mobile. He enjoys watching them parade around in circles above him. We’re very thankful for a healthy, happy baby.
